Dear Parents/Guardians,                                                      June 2021

Welcome to Scoil Bhríde  - still in this time of Covid-19.

We are sorry we can't host our usual Induction evening and Orientation for the new children.

What we will do in share a link of video presentations to you all and we will arrange for your child to have a walk-through towards the end of the month - after 20th June 2021.

This will entail a visit to the classroom by your child and one parent/ guardian at a prescribed time in really small groups to collect a sheet/ pack and see class and class teacher - to hopefully allay any concerns your child might have. This is not compulsory and we can send on any info later.

We are sending links to videos giving a tour and presentation of the school. In the meanwhile keep an eye on the website and on your inbox. I will be in touch with more information soon.

Please reassure your child and we'll be in touch.

In the meanwhile, please take time to review some of the links below. I really recommend these links.

Kind regards, Brendan Kelleher

A Sarah Murray very kindly shared this excellent padlet of resources on transitions from pre-school to primary school in Ireland on Twitter last evening. She has put an enormous amount of work into collating all of these resources and we are very grateful to her for sharing them for free with the education community in Ireland. Maith thú Sarah. The generosity of teachers knows no bounds.

Some suggested resources from our Parents' Page.  More elsewhere on the website.
