St. Michael's Zambia
New School
St. Michaels School, Lusaka, Zambia
St. Michaels School in Zambia is a school that is being built ouside Lusaka, Zambia for poor children. The charity TOUCH from Kildare are supporting this school and we are helping them with fundraising. On 23rd October 2009 we are having a games playing day where each child in the school is encouraged to bring in a board game and €2 donation. This money will go towards the cost of Desks and Chairs for the school. Below are some pictures of the progress of this school. As its building and our own building coincide it is a good opportunity for the children here to learn about the needs of children in the developing world. They can also see exactly where their money is going and as trime goes on hopefully we will be able to run other events to support this particular school.
