Green Flag Raised
Green Schools

Our Green Flag was raised today by Mr. Dara Wyer of An Taisce. After two years of work the day finally arrived when we got to raise the flag. It was a beautifully warm summers day and lots of parents and friends of the school turned up for the ceremony. The children were all very excited especially the Green Schools Committee who were presented with certificates in recognition of their work. The school band played while the flag was being brought out and afterwards all were given treats in their classrooms.
